THE ART OF BOBBIE DAILEY
Artist, Bobbie Dailey lives and works in Wyoming creating
her original artwork in watercolour, coloured pencil, pen and ink, and mixed media.
Originally trained as a graphic artist/illustrator, for many years Bobbie's artwork was exclusively in pen and ink to facilitate printing reproduction.
Bobbie was fortunate to be approached by her local school district to create a graphic arts program for the high school. After trying to juggle part-time graphics work with part-time teaching, she decided to give her whole attention to teaching high school students the craft she loved. To keep her skills fresh, and to keep abreast of the ever-changing technology, Bobbie continued with her own free-lance graphics business, concentrating on fewer clients.
After taking early retirement from teaching, Bobbie has renewed her commercial graphics work and artwork full time. Being self-employed has allowed her to balance graphics work with creating art. . .and has allowed her to schedule her time to accommodate her love for travel with her husband, Mike, and their "camper kitty", Missy Mouse.
